How To Transfer Video from Video Camera to a Computer Using a USB 2.0

How To Transfer Video from Video Camera to a Computer Using a USB 2.0.

Many ways to transfer HD video from the camera or tape. If we use a video camera with a mini-DV storage media then there are two ways to transfer video that is a FireWire interface (IEEE 1394) and USB 2.0. Difference is the speed of data transfer. FireWire lets you transfer data at speeds up to 800 Mbps, while USB version 2.0 supports speeds up to 480 Mbps.

For the resulting video quality, the interface FireWire is capable of producing a video with a resolution of 720 x 576 pixel (PAL), whereas only a USB 2.0 interface is capable of producing a video with a maximum resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. The second measure is more than enough resolution to create video content that will be distributed in Video CD format that has a resolution of 352 x 288 pixel (PAL).

So a little explanation of my hopefully useful for you who like video editing with it ..
